Solid carbide (HM) DIN slitting saws
Solid carbide slitting saws manufactured according to DIN 1837 (fine) and DIN 1838 (coarse). We can also produce every kind of specials according to the material to be cut. The blades can be manufactured flat or with hollow-ground up to the bore or with hub. Choosing the right solid carbide saw blade: using high cutting speeds and feeds, our solid carbide saw blades give the greatest possible cutting rates and considerably reduce component unit cost. Always ensure that: - cutter shafts are rigid and vibrations-free - that the parts to be machined are well clamped : - avoid side pressure on the saw blade. If possible use a flood coolant, such as an emulsioned oil if working on ferrous metals, petrol of kerosene if cutting aluminium and aluminium alloys, nickel, silver, etc., compressed air if working on cast iron or plastics.
